Unicorn Cloud

The Great Mother embraced her lost child and they walked off into the cloud filled realm to find their way back to the Black Ocean…

Great Mother: Nothing to worry about now, you are half way home Dear.

Eiiyaa: I am not worried. Look how beautiful it is here. I have fallen a long way. Clouds are flowering blue and mystical over the face of the stars.

Great Mother: It is the stars that shall light our way home.

A passing Unicorn cloud made a comment under her breath which was heard by the other clouds and a few distant stars, as well.

The Unicorn Cloud: Oh such an adventure awaits those two. I hate to say it, but home is never quite the same once you’ve seen new places. I wandered away myself once. “I’m going to light up the world.” I told myself.

Blue Star: And then what happened?

The Unicorn Cloud: (startled that she had been heard) Oh didn’t see you there…well I drifted for a year and a day, saw many wonderful and not so wonderful things and then I returned to my original position in the sky, and well, everything seemed so small, so petty, so completely non sensical I had a difficult time fitting back in.

Blue Star: Hmm, but you stayed? Here in your original spot.

The Unicorn Cloud: Yes, yes I did. (Looks around) It’s not so bad really, familiar places are quite cozy at times.

Blue Star: Do you still long to wander tho? Just a bit?

The Unicorn Cloud: Well I still have dreams, I wouldn’t be alive if I didn’t…

Blue Star: Dreams to “Light Up The World”?

The Unicorn Cloud: (Laughing and blushing a bit) Well, maybe just lend a bit of flash and sparkle.
